U.S Senatorial candidate Wendy Long will tell her story at a major festival and rally in Oneonta on May 12^th.

Wendy Long is in a 3 way primary battle to win a Republican nomination on June 26^th. If victorious in the primary she will face current Senator Kirsten Gillibrand in the November elections.

Out of the 3 candidates Wendy Long seems to be the most interested in upstate New York. On April 15^th she gave a rousing speech to 550 avid attendees at her first appearance in Watkins Glen NY. Her “cures for NY” received a standing ovation. The “upstaters” questioned her on her grasp of upstate issues and problems. The crowd seemingly gave Wendy a thumbs-up. Carl Paladino was also at the Watkins Rally. Paladino is urging Wendy to “pay attention to upstate”. Her speech brought a big smile to Paladino’s face.

Wendy Long is the current front runner. George Maragos is second and Bob Turner is third.
